On Saturday, 3/5/16, from 6pm – 10pm CST, the members of TDK will participate in a Pro-Am tournament event on Arena Online, a platform for gamers of all skill levels who want to compete in online tournaments for points, cash and prizes. The first game hosted on the platform is League of Legends.
Seraph, Ninja, Kez, Bischu, Ohq, and Thy will all be joining the platform at random starting at 6pm CST, and will be automatically assigned with any players waiting in queue to enter a tournament. Players might play with one of the TDK members on their team, or they may be playing against them. There could even be a member of TDK on both teams! Due to the automated, match-making system on the platform, there’s no telling who they will be matched with, but it promises to be fun for all the players.
Sean Shim, the General Manager of TDK said, “The players are very excited to be able to play with their fans, and they’re looking forward to a really fun time. It will be the best having all of our players stream on Azubu so fans can get hyped even more.”
For players that would like the opportunity to go 1v1 in-lane against a pro, or to have a pro helping you learn on the same team, all you have to be is ranked on the NA server of League of Legends. Arena Online will be running on-demand tournaments all weekend long, beginning Friday at 6pm CST and running in limited time frames through Sunday. For players who would like to get familiar with the platform prior to TDK joining, create an account and play on the platform at https://play.arenaonline.
